Scharioth Macula lens is a new and innovative piggyback IOL designed to provide intraocular magnification in patients with stable macular degeneration. This video will showcase the human aspect of the AMD but also the current surgical options available to provide intraocular magnification and describe the technical details of the Scharioth Macula lens including the design, implantation techniques and the results of the clinical trial.
