This video demonstrates a novel technique for correction of corneal astigmatism and aphakia in an eye without capsular support using a toric, single-piece acrylic lens designed with eyelets at the haptic-optic junction that can be threaded with suture for fixation to the sclera. In this particular case, a patient with hand-motion uncorrected visual acuity improved to 20/20 uncorrected vision.
